SOS events in the week

Simple Solutions A pub quiz at the Dartmouth Arms.

Teams up to 6 people. £1 pp entry minimum.

SOS Day Friday 29th Jan 2010

So far the events planned are:

The five local Primary Schools in Dartmouth, Blackawton and Kingswear will be having fun and fundraising on SOS day. Crewmen will be visiting the schools during the week to help the children be aware of concepts such as volunteering and charity.

Bag packing at Sainsburys.

Sample our Steaks at the Ship in Dock

6pm to 9:30pm for every £10.95 steak, £5 will be donated to SOS day

Tinnitus will be playing at the Dartmouth Royal British Legion at 8pm.

SOS events on Saturday 30 Jan.

At the Dart lifeboat station The Sea Safety team will be on hand to show sailors how to check and care for their lifejackets "See our Safety" as well as a splicing demonstration. There will be a chance to "Slurp our Soup", "Sizzle our Sausages" and "Scoff our Sponges" as well as "Seeing our Souvenirs & Sorting out Santa.
There will be plenty of activities for adults and children.

"Sax on Saturday". Sax Appeal will be playing at Dartmouth Guildhall on Sat 30 Jan. Food and drink will be available. Tickets are on sale at the Harbour Bookshop, the Royal Castle Hotel and at Dartmouth Yacht Club.

 Dart were voted the South Division SOS team of the year 2009. A new shield commemorating this success was presented at the RNLI South Division bi-annual Conference in Torquay. Rob Clements, LOM, accepted the shield from Michael Vlasco RNLI Operations Director, on behalf of the lifeboat crew, fundraisers, local schools and all the others who contributed to the winning total.
